Working with the Media 101

Karmaloop and The New England Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists presented an evening for all aspiring creative talent with inclinations to media coverage.

A panel of reporters and editors from Boston 's biggest publications fielded questions from the audience and gave advice and insight about getting publicity for bands, music, art or anything else.

Panelists included Weekly Dig Music Editor Michael Brodeur, Weekly Dig Managing Editor Lissa Harris, Boston Herald's Linda Kincaid, Weekly Dig Editor in Chief Joe Keohane, The Boston Globe's Emily Sweeney and Stuff@Night's Henley Vazquez.
