REBEL8 Clothing, Fashions for men
REBEL8 was born on March 24, 2003 when only a few dozen t-shirts were screen printed in San Francisco. Since then, REBEL8 has matured and grown significantly, but continues to run off the same punk, DIY philosophy it once started with. We hope our line is seen as a manifestation of our lifestyle based on artistic expression and creativity. Our credible history in graffiti, tattooing and skateboarding influence REBEL8 and are represented in our product range. Mike Giant illustrates every REBEL8 graphic by hand. Whenever possible, Mike prefers to have films shot directly from his original artwork (the old school way REBEL8 once did), but due to changes in technology it happens less frequently. Mainly he digitally photographs every drawing and converts the image to black and white in Photoshop. The films used to burn the screens, which are in turn used to print all of our t-shirts, come directly from these photographs. At no point is the artwork made into a vector format. We feel a hand drawn illustration loses the trueness when the original inked lines are compromised during the vector process. Our products are infused with a lot of integrity and heart. We hope you continue to enjoy them for years to come. We are REBEL8 lifers and you are welcome to join.
