Fenchurch
To celebrate its tenth anniversary, Fenchurch is going back to its roots for a/w 09 and is taking inspiration from its home city of London. The theme of the range is The Knowledge; specifically Fenchurchs insider knowledge of our great capitals best people, locations and secrets all of which are reflected in the collection.
This season, the womenswear offer from Karmaloop boasts a warm, wintery palette of deep sea greens and blues, purples and greys and showcases a more subtle collection. There is a heavy emphasis on outerwear with the key styles to look out for at Karmaloop is the Levio, a cute check jacket with big collar detail and Sienna, a lightweight fitted gillet with fur collar detail and ribbed edging, perfect for keeping out the cold but still looking extra chic. A key piece is the Giordani jacket boasting purple polka dots and a ribbed pink belt ensuring the wearer will stand out from any crowd. Skirts are also a key part of the line, with new additions including the Nadia; a knee length pleat skirt perfect for the autumn wardrobe.
As always, design is at the forefront of the collection with a number of freelance designers from all over the world working alongside the Fenchurch design team to produce market leading designs depicted on hoods, tees and vests. The Fenchurch logo is always prominent with a number of new interpretations littering the a/w 09 line. Check out the Nasha jersey featuring 70s film noir-style graphics.
There are exciting things happening in the world of Fenchurch currently with the brand working with a number of artists, most notably providing the merchandise for Just Jacks upcoming tour and working with bands such as the Ting Tings and a number of up and coming DJs.
