Since its launch in 1998, Matix has been creating durable tees, jeans, and hats for those who are constantly on the run...literally. Matix was founded by pro skateboarders Daewon Song and Tim Gavin, who were inspired by the idea of creating versatile clothing while keeping that fresh skater look. With a line that incorporates laidback surfer style and also includes durable snow gear, Matix has developed into a lifestyle brand for the average athletic stud. Although it originally targeted young men age 15-30, Matix soon became an all-ages brand, with the recognition that street style knows no age restrictions. Matix has great talent and ideas, bringing a unique style to meet the needs of active individuals.
