Estevan Oriol is one of the foremost documentarians of Los Angeles street culture, and he uses many of his iconic photographs as graphics on tees, hoodies, hats, and more. Estevan started out as a bouncer at an L.A. hip hop club, before eventually moving on to manage legendary hip hop acts Cypress Hill and House of Pain. While on the road, Estevan began documenting his experiences with photography, and after returning to L.A. he used his reputation to get exclusive access to photograph L.A.'s most notorious gang members and celebrities. The gritty, primarily black and white aesthetic of Estevan's photographs is embodied in Estevan Oriol gear, as many of the pieces feature a solid colorway and a unique, often somewhat controversial image.
