Responsible for the management of the technology organization. Develop a team-oriented, problem solving culture that fosters creativity and results in a performance driven, customer-focused technology team. This person will be a hands-on leader, working closely with internal development teams and recruiting key personnel into product development and architecture roles. Hire, manage, and motivate a top-notch software engineering team. Identify and develop new managers. Develop and maintain department forecasts, budgets and management reports. Ensure technical, financial and personnel management standards are implemented and maintained. Ensure consistent process, metrics and key indicators are implemented and managed across company.

- Create and Implement strategic technology plans for the organization;
- Implement consistent and disciplined development strategies, processes, measures/metrics, and tools that will allow ... to achieve optimal operational results;
- Foster a performance driven, customer first culture across team;
- Spearhead development of multiple next generation technology platforms to manage and monetize corporate efforts in Intellectual Property. This will entail translating existing technologies to a more robust platform to improve the marketability of the solution;
- Spearhead develop of multiple legacy platforms to manage and monetize corporate efforts in Intellectual Property. This will include delivering enhancements in functionality, performance and architecture to existing platforms;
- Employ effective project management proficiencies for administering all product development operational procedures, development schedules, quality processes and documentation;
- Ensure that projects and roadmaps are completed in a timely fashion through teams that understand the necessity to meet expected deadlines, while continually improving their technology in the marketplace;
- Lead all technology/architecture planning, development and operational functions, which involve establishing and managing a scaleable architecture that supports the needs of the business and incorporates capabilities that provide high service levels with minimal downtime;
- Develop budgets, forecasts and other financial programs, in conjunction with corporate objectives;
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, other internal departments, as well as with external sources such as consultants and major suppliers, in ensuring that technology is continually improved to meet customer needs and satisfaction;
- Ensure the company's technical leadership by keeping abreast of the latest advances in web hardware, software, application technologies, trends and emerging technologies;
- Build and inspire a talented team of external and internal developers with a strong service and delivery orientation;
- Improve the existing testing and quality assurance environment
- Establish and maintain relationships with key technology partners
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The VP of Product Development must have the necessary scope and knowledge base in the enterprise application software industry. Since this position will have a major impact on the development and direction of the company’s future business, it is expected that he/she will provide the necessary framework for all product development, modifications, and related activities. Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in business, software engineering or computer science; Advanced degree in business management, technology or planning desirable. Minimum 5 to 10 years technical experience in software research/development environment with 5 years in development management including, at least, 3 years managing a development organization.
- An established history of leadership, technical innovation and accomplishment in an intensely high-growth online B2C/B2B enterprise, preferably with a leading e-commerce technology or ERP business.
- Extensive vision and accomplishments in actualizing complex online concepts into technological reality; a record of successful project management and execution.

Responsible for strategy, execution & performance of SEO, Online Media, Affiliate, Web Analytics, and Creative design and user experience for Karmaloop.com. Manage the development and optimization of online marketing programs intended to drive traffic and sales to our sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a successful online marketing plan to optimize current programs, maximizing site traffic
- Create, execute and report on testing programs for optimization of all online programs

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated QA Engineer to deliver QA test cycles on a highly scalable transactional and 24/7 website and to introduce test processes within the technology team’s release process.
Having excellent attention to detail the right candidate must be able to demonstrate proven initiative in a fast-paced environment and be able to sensibly evaluate and communicate testing progress and risk.
You will be required to perform detailed test analysis and write test plans and test cases to industry standards. You will also be expected to execute test cases manually and develop automated test suites over time. You will also be required to communicate test progress so excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Responsibilities:
- Create, deploy, maintain and adapt solid test processes in a challenging fast-paced environment.
- Liaise proactively with the Operations Team, Product Team, Business leads and Developers to identify testing requirements.
- With the use of a checklist or testing procedure, halting the release process when regression testing is incomplete or failed
- Create & implement test plans and test scripts
- Drive technical testing efforts including regression testing and integration testing
- Research, develop and support the implementation of automated testing processes and procedures for future development projects
Qualifications Required / Preferred:
- Possess a strong skill set in Software Testing and IT Quality Assurance, including

- Functional, Regression & Environmental levels of testing.
- Organizing and coordinating UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
