Responsibilities
- Project manage all properties
- Analyze, track, provide insights and optimize all campaigns, new functions and our members in general
- Develop and help launch new business ventures (PLNDR’s marketplace, social sharing, gaming, etc.) and gear them to accomplish stated goals
- Ultimate goal is to ensure PLNDR is profitable and is growing as quickly as possible
- Project Management for PLNDR.com, Kazbah marketplace, PLNDR Europe (and all of their divisions)
- Help develop roadmap comprised of projects to accomplish overall strategy and goals
- Break projects down into daily, weekly and monthly deliverables
- Manage execution of all projects
- Develop and own new business launches until they are large enough for a full-time employee

- Ensure profitability and positive ROI across all business units and campaigns

- Tech Project Management
- Be the product owner and liaison for technical projects including major launches
- Example: building out backend for vendors to drop ship on PLNDR
- Website Analytics
- Work with site analytic consultant/employee to ensure site is built/designed to convert well
- Manage A/B test campaigns to keep conversion as high as possible
- Daily Operations
- Organize and ensure daily operations are being performed for PLNDR and Kazbah
- Source and confirm completion of all accounting, customer service and technical needs
- Example: Follow-up to resolve site malfunctions
Qualifications:
- 4 year degree in business administration, communications, marketing or technical related field
- 3-5 years business development experience in an ecommerce industry
- Proven experience with deadline pressure, prioritizing and organizing multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Work experience with all Microsoft Office applications

Drive quality traffic to fuel membership growth for PLNDR.com. Expanding and optimizing traffic acquisition channels, build link partnerships, affiliate marketing, and optimizing on quality traffic sources
Responsibilities:
- Develop effective traffic acquisition channels
- Build and optimize online marketing campaigns in Google that return high ROI. Create, test, and optimize across campaigns to increase performance
- Provide analytics for all traffic sources (SEM, Organic, Social, Referral, etc.) and make actionable recommendations
- Experience
- Understanding of traffic acquisition channels including social media, SEO/SEM, affiliate marketing, and referral programs

Description:
As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for working daily with business users and stakeholders to define and prioritize tasks for the development team. Our team handles customer facing and internal technology for Karmaloop, PLNDR and other sites, and we are constantly working to improve what we have while building new features and functionality into our existing landscape. You will work directly with the development team and across departments to ensure successful development and delivery of new features and software.
Responsibilities:
- Helping to ensure that products meet customer and market requirements
- Working directly with business users/product owners to define, prioritize and communicate requirements to the development team
- Owning and maintaining a product backlog
- Regularly reviewing the backlog and status of specific requests or initiatives with business users/product owners
- Documenting requests for changes and communicating changes in prioritization or scope to the engineering team
- Working with services or technology vendors as needed
- Working directly with the development team
Qualifications:
- Experience working in an agile (scrum or otherwise) environment.
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high growth environment.
- 2-4 years of experience at a technology company
- 3 or more years of product management experience
- Experience with high hit (primarily e-commerce) based websites
- Experience working directly with engineering teams and experience with developing and communicating technical requirements (experience writing user stories a plus)
- Proven track record of managing projects from defining requirements to delivery

Karmaloop is seeking a Senior Microsoft Systems Engineer to lead our team of system administrators, plan for growth, manage the internal IT infrastructure for our Boston and New York locations, and take full responsibility for the stability, security, and scalability of our website infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of sysadmins, and build the team to support the needs of the company
- Perform capacity planning and ensure we have adequate room for growth and spikes in traffic
- Negotiate contracts with vendors
- Make key infrastructure decisions with input from the team
- Lead an effort to take our existing, ad hoc hardware setup and turn it into a standardized, easy to maintain system
- Support the needs of an agile development team
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of managing system administrators
- At least 5 years building, maintaining, and expanding a MS oriented infrastructure
- At least 7 years of operations experience
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, DNS, IIS.
- Knowledge of and passion for building highly available systems
- You can work with minimal supervision and handle leading projects on your own.
- You have strong communication skills.
- Experience troubleshooting in a high-volume, critical production service environment
- Strong knowledge of VMWare virtualization products
- Microsoft Certified - MCSE, MCSA, MCP IIS a plus

As an E-commerce UX/Analtyics Director at Karmaloop you’ll be key to determining UI changes and analyzing our vast amounts of customer data to help make decisions to drive the company forward. This is definitely a leadership role with a lot of room for growth.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the head of all company-wide analytics and reporting initiatives.
- Develop a strategy for company-wide analytics and reporting use.
- Coordinate with other departments in Karmaloop to drive an effective action plan based on analytics findings.
- Conduct a/b testing to constantly make sure that new features and design are increasing conversion.
- Determine paths to optimize revenue based off of analytics and reports for our main sites.
- Setup heat mapping and other methods of site analysis, to guide design choices.
- Train and develop web analysis skills throughout the company to build analytics into our culture of decision making.
- Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills with ability to work manage multiple projects simultaneously
Qualifications:
- 4-5 years of work experience in web analytics (Omniture, Google Analytics, etc.) to determine project and site wide changes.
- Knowledge of conversion funnel optimization and analysis.
