Subconscious Threads Giveaway

 Subconscious Threads is a brand that does things their own special way.  They like to express retrospective feelings in a thought provoking futuristic artistic manner. Raised in the eighties many of their influences are retro. They like to think that they express the things that people often reserve for the depths of their subconscious mind while still being in tune with the ubiquity of our high paced present world. This is the inspiration to achieve their underlying goal, make the dopest clothes possible. They are artistically expressive messengers ofhistory, culture, and music. This particular season, Subcon Holiday 2011 encompasses all the lifestyle influences of the brand. It is homage to the Pop Art world, with some pieces paying respect and taking influences from the works of Andy Warhol. Enjoy life; appreciate art, music and culture. Live fast, live large, and die like a boss.  

In an effort to promoting the arts and doing things their own way, Subconscious Threads will be running an contest that rewards winners in two categories -apparel design and artistic expression (photography or painting ). Keeping to their name sake, Subcon is running a design contest allowing loyal customers to unleash the depths of their subconscious mind.

Entrants are challenged to design a three piece capsule, with the opportunity of having their creations come to life and be part of the Subcon Summer 2012 collection. Unadulterated pure expression is your only design direction needed. Make sure your capsule is cohesive and evokes thoughts in your potential consumers. Design winners will win an entire Summer 2012 Subcon collection, a collection that will encompass at least one of their original creations and a prize from this current Subcon Holiday collection of one crew neck and 2 tee shirts oftheir choice.

The second part of the Subcon Holiday contest also rewards artistic expression, but in a different way. Entrants are to submit original work inspired by a Subconscious Threads product, past seasons or preferably from the current one. Original works can be photography or original paintings. For the photographs, they are to contain the Subcon product in them. The winners will be recognized on the new Subcon Facebook and twitter, and also receive 2 sweatshirts and 4 tee shirts of their choice.

The contest will run from December 5th- to February 14, 2012

Winners will be announced on February 14th.
