SoulChampion

SoulChampion.com is the home of North American Underground Garage online. Originally launched in 2000 by Boston based DJ/Producer G Notorious to help establish and promote the Boston Underground Garage scene, the site was repurposed, redesigned, and re-launched in January to cover the emerging scenes throughout the United States and Canada.  So far, traffic is way up and the music press is starting to take notice.  SoulChampion was featured as Remix Magazine's Website of the Month in their February 2005 issue and Clubvibes is currently showcasing the site online.

Underground Garage is a hybrid form of dance music which combines elements of House, DrumnBass, Hip-Hop, Reggae, and Soul.  It originated in the UK and over the past several years has spread worldwide.  SoulChampion hosts a collection of mixes and original music by US and Canadian DJs and producers which showcase all of the various themes, styles, and sub genres covered by the blanket terms UK Garage and/or Underground Garage.  To date, that includes artists from Boston, Dallas, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Baltimore, Miami, Raleigh-Durham, Washington, DC, and Toronto.

Other SoulChampion content includes event listings, links and information about the music and artists worldwide, and the Forums where the North American community comes to discuss and promote their local scenes and music.
