It’s hard to describe Kid Ink as being on the verge of being a superstar. With nearly 16 million views on the video for “Show Me” with Chris Brown, it seems Kid Ink is pretty much already there. The Los Angeles native, who first caught the attention of the industry with his mixtape “World Tour” in 2010, has grown immensely as an artist since then. Now, after four years of free mixtapes, tours and teasers, Ink is finally ready to release his debut album, My Own Lane.
Possessing a melodic, mesmerizing, flow, Kid Ink is poised to be the next go-to hitmaker of the Left Coast. His ability to effortlessly create bouncy, club tracks is definitely his bread and butter, but his ability to really rap is what will keep his name is relevant in hip-hop circles as well. Check out another heater off his album, No Option, below and head over to iTunes to purchase his debut effort now!
We had a chance to link with the Kid a few ago at the KarmaloopTV studio and snapped this crispy photo. #MyOwnLane
