How do I make a Return or Exchange?

To make a return or an exchange with Karmaloop, you must create a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number. To process your return and receive an RMA number visit our returns page.

All returns must have a return label on the package with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number; packages received without a Return Authorization Number will NOT be accepted.

If you have any trouble creating your Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number, please contact customer service.


Do I have to pay shipping for my return items?

Yes, you will be responsible for getting the item back to us. But any exchange items sent back to you will be sent for free.


When I request an exchange, will the item be held for me?

When your exchange is setup we place your item on hold. Although we do attempt to hold your item, we cannot 100% guarantee that our warehouse will be able to successfully hold your item so we suggest that you ship your item back as soon as possible.


How can I check my return status?

You will be emailed when your returned item arrives at our warehouse.

We will notify you again (within 7 business days) when your return or exchange has been completed.

Please contact Customer Service for further information about your return.


How long will it take for my return to be processed?

Once we have received your return at our warehouse, it should take approximately 7 business days to complete.


Can I have a refund if I return an item?

Yes, but only if your return request is made within 14 days of your original order.

Sale items are NOT eligible for refunds.


Can I return a pair of shoes?

Only if there is a defect, or if the shoes have not been worn.
Any shoe that has visible wear and is not defective can NOT be returned.

All shoe returns must come with the original shoe box.

Returned shoes will NOT be accepted if the original shoe box has been used as packaging or is damaged in any way.


Can I return underwear or a bathing suit?

No. Karmaloop does not accept bikini or underwear returns.

The only exception will be for shrink wrapped items that have the packaging intact and unopened.


How do you ship orders that include ORM-D/Hazmat Consumer Commodities?

Most ORM-D/Hazmat orders will be shipped via ground shipping. At this time, ORM-D/Hazmat shipments are restricted to destinations in the United States. The delivery time for ground shipments is 4-7 business days. When shipping within the 48 contiguous states and your order contains additional items to be shipped with ORM-D/Hazmat consumer commodities, the entire order will be shipped via ground shipping. If you would like your other items to ship with a faster shipping option, we suggest that you break up your order into 2 separate orders.


Why do other companies ship ORM-D/Hazmat items by air and you don’t?

In order to ship items considered to be hazardous materials by air, including ORM-D/Hazmat Consumer Commodity items, the shipper must be licensed as a hazardous materials shipper. Karmaloop does not have the licensing required to do so and due to this we will not ship by air.


What does the ORM-D/Hazmat Designation Mean?

ORM-D/Hazmat material is a limited quantity of a hazardous material that presents a low risk of hazard during transportation due to its form, quantity and packaging. The proper shipping name for all ORM-D/Hazmat is “Consumer Commodity.” Not every hazardous material permitted to be shipped as a limited quantity can qualify as an ORM-D/Hazmat material. The ORM-D/Hazmat category is recognized for use within the US only. ORM-D/Hazmat materials cannot be sent via international mail. It is packaged in a form intended or suitable for retail sale. Often, the material may be mildly hazardous, but when combined with other hazardous substances, it may represent a significant risk. One example is a can of compressed air. Often when cans of compressed air are shipped by airplane, because of the reduced atmospheric pressure resulting from flying at high altitudes, the can of compressed air will explode. While an exploding can of compressed air may not present a significant danger in itself, it can pose a great danger if it explodes in proximity to other volatile products.


Will you ship ORM-D/Hazmat items internationally?

Unfortunately we will not ship ORM-D/Hazmat items internationally. Since all international orders are shipped via air travel, ORM-D/Hazmat cannot be shipped outside of the US at this time.


Do you accept returns on ORM-D or Beauty Product items?

We do not accept returns on ORM-D or beauty products (make-up, cologne, perfume, etc.) for non-defective merchandise. We cannot issue refunds, credits, or exchanges for a different ORM-D or beauty product item.


What if my ORM-D or Beauty Product item is defective?

If your merchandise has a significant defect, we'll be happy to exchange it for a non-damaged item after the item is inspected by our warehouse to ensure that it was a vendor defect. You must contact us within TEN (10) DAYS from the date of purchase for defective ORM-D or beauty product items.
