Become one of the first Kazbah merchants! Karmaloop and the Kazbah Genie are now taking submissions for consideration to be one of the original, pioneering peddlers of the soon to be legendary Karmaloop Kazbah! We are going to select the dopest of the dope (we've got a reputation to uphold, after all) and these few (45) will be able to set up their stalls and start on the path to fame, fortune and glory in June 2006. These pioneering peddlers will not be joined by second comers for a while, so they'll have the Kazbah all to themselves for many moons. If you want to get one of the coveted mini-stores in the Kazbah, submit images of what you make - jewelry, t-shirts, accessories, art, whatever, plus a bio on yourself, your brand or both.
Why the Kazbah? Since Karmaloop's inception, we have been continuously contacted by super-talented individuals who design t-shirts, paint, make crazy cool stencils, sculpt, take pics, make macramé and otherwise undertake a whole host of creative endeavors, asking about selling their stuff on the site.
Over the years, we have communicated with and seen the work of hundreds of artists, but as it is difficult for us to engage every talented person to sell their stuff on the site in the traditional manner, we haven't always been able to take stuff that we love UNTIL NOW!!!! We put our little noggins together and Karmaloop Kazbah was born.
What is it really? Karmaloop Kazbah is a bazaar featuring original design/art product made in the kitchens, lofts and vestibules of Karmaloop's hyper talented customers. The Kazbah will feature the wares of select artists. Since Kazbah artists will be handpicked by the inimitable, always ready to jump on his stallion (or carpet) and charge into the face of danger, Kazbah Genie, you know they're gonna be hype and worthy of portrayal in the tales of Scheheradze.
How to submit. Sashay your way into the Karmaloop Kazbah submission form. Submit. You'll see, it's easy just a brief description of your wares and yourself and some pics. Kazbah Genie will review and get back to you. If he thinks you should be awarded a stall, you will be able to set up shop! Having a stall in the bazaar means that you will be able to showcase your goods to all passers-by strolling through the labyrinth of talent that is Karmaloop Kazbah!
