Brand Spotlight: Obey Clothing M/W 2013

If the names Shepherd Fairey and Andre The Giant aren’t familiar to you already, then you have some serious homework to do. One of the more iconic designers of the 90’s, Fairey launched Obey from his college dorm in 1989 and then went on to design the ubiquitous “Hope” logo for Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign. Not too shabby, eh?

Obey has been a steadfast part of the streetwear scene over the last two decades, always staying true to their vision and aesthetic. Inspired by classic military and workwear, Obey knows what works and they stick to it. Their jackets and crewnecks should be a part of everyone’s wardrobe for their reliable construction and distinctive designs. Check out some of their best men’s and women’s pieces below, and be sure to cop that shit from Karmaloop before it’s too late.
