Ryan Hemsworth’s New Effort Guilt Trips Is Beautiful [GURU Bootleg]

In 2010, Ryan Hemsworth started making beats in his Nova Scocia bedroom. His undeniable talent was quickly recognized and he soon scored high-profile placements on tracks for Shady BlazeDenino Farrar and more, while steadily releasing EPs and remixes–his Thinkin Bout You remix is particularly ill. We were pretty pumped when saw the video (above) for Against A Wall earlier this month. Today, we realize we were right to be excited. His latest full-length album Guilt Trips is fucking dope.

Hemsworth chose to debut his album on Pitchfork Advance. Few things get us excited like an innovative, slick, and exciting new way to present music. Pitchfork Advance isn’t just dumping mp3s on you like the album previews of old, instead seamlessly incorporating the artistic vision of the LP with the songs and imagery its presenting. It’s well executed, simple, and beautiful. Seriously, you should check it out. Stream the album here.

So yeah. Hemsworth has us pumped. So we had to do that thing…. BOOTLEG!
