Most of us can’t even remember the last time Jay Electronica released a track. After captivating the entire hip-hop world with two standout cuts, Exhibit A and Exhibit C in 2009, Jay Electronica went completely off the grid, only to pop up on obscure internet forums or music festivals every now and then.

Over the years, rap fans have got increasingly frustrated with the man’s refusal to put new music out, resigning his album to the same status as Dr. Dre‘s rumored¬†Detox.¬†However, things got shaken up last week when Jay randomly popped up in Austin, Texas and then released a song the very next day. This immediately drove the internet crazy and had fans at SXSW clamoring to see if they could get a glimpse of the man himself.

Click play to get a slice of greatness and let your mind wander while you imagine what this album is going to sound like. If, it ever comes out.

We’re almost out of DIPSET USA gear. Act fast.¬†
