Yeah, we know it’s only Tuesday but it’s never too early to start looking forward to the weekend festivities. Last weekend, DJs UZ and Sweater Beats hit BBC Radio1’s Diplo and Friends show and threw down a monster mix and immediately turned his mix around for the interwebz today. Though there isn’t much info on these two cats, the verdict is undoubtedly clear: they get busy on the mixes. According to Mad Decent:
“The mysterious UZ first surfaced in 2012 with his amazing Trap Shit series which immediately gained attention and praise from tastemakers and top record labels. Though the details of his personal identity are unknown, his productions and style have a life of their own. Sweater Beats, is a force to be reckoned with his skillful synth work and vocal manipulations translate bedroom music to the club, and his DJ sets are as diverse as they are emotional.”
Well, there you go. Two phenomenal artists who the world knows very little about. Hey, if all the mixes sound like this, you won’t hear us complain anytime soon. Featuring cuts from BeazyTymes, Jacuzzi, RL Grime, Milo & Otis, and more, this will kick you in the next gear from until the weekend.
