NYC based streetwear retailer ALIFE has been a staple in the scene for many years now. One of their most iconic projects is the aptly titled, ALIFE Sessions, which features major artists doing an intimate show for a select few in ALIFE’s backyard at their Soho location. A few months ago, Drake stopped by for a classic night, even bringing out Wu Tang legend Raekwon to join him on stage, showing how seriously artists take their performance at the Sessions.
Last week, the self-proclaimed “Man of The Year,” Schoolboy Q, hit the stage to perform joints off his eventually #1 album, Oxymoron. Part concert footage and part interview, click play to watch how Q explain how playing sports gave him balance as a youngin’, why he considers himself a little weird and how he influenced more by east than west coast rap growing up. A must watch for any fans of Q or raw hip hop coming back to limelight.
Need a camo jacket like Q? Look no further.
