Being from New York, it was inevitable they would get asked about their friend Trinidad James’ recent comments. They don’t take the opportunity to go off on him, saying he called them to clarify that he was only talking about the radio. But the more interesting part is when they say what they think is wrong with New York hip-hop, mostly that New York DJs aren’t playing New York hip-hop because it’s all about Bounce music and twerking right now.
