Tech Boner: Samsung Releases Bendable Galaxy Phone

In a revolutionary move, Samsung (aka the iPhone killa) is bringing a bendable, curved display to the next edition of the Galaxy Round. Users will be able to have the phone contour to the shape of their hand, while activating a bunch of previously unthinkable commands. Check out the “Roll Effect” demo below:

While bullshitting around the GURU office with our flat (smh) iPhones, we decided to daydream on potential benefits of a concave screen phone. Dream with us:

1. Gameplay: Can you imagine playing Need For Speed with a bendable screen!? The only thing we fear is snapping the phone in half when turning some intense corners, but other than that… bring it on.

2. Shooting videos and photos: Remember all those blurry photos you erased and hated yourself over because you were moving your phone trying to capture the action? Problem solved. Now you can just bend your phone to snap your annoyingly adorable dog rolling in the grass for the millionth time.

3. Fitting it in your pocket: We once accepted as a fact of life that bulky phones would rub against our thighs and make us look like we were carrying a phone book in our pockets. No more, baby. Contort this bad boy however you please to get it in those fresh khakis.

Are you as hyped about the Galaxy Round as we are? Well, too bad. It seems like it will only be available in Samsung’s home territory of Korea, for a limited time price of 1.09M Won (only about $1013)! Talk about a buzzkill.

Do you still have a flat phone? No worries, bro. Cop these fly cases:
