Trae Speaks The Truth On the Breakfast Club On Power 105.1

Trae tha Truth, veteran Houston rapper of Guerrilla Maab fame, stopped by the Breakfast Club sounding like he just smoked eight blunts by himself. Luckily, Charlemagne and the gang hit him with their signature wild energy and got him to talk about a lot more than his upcoming I Am King mixtape (although he does speak on that quite a bit).

Most interestingly, he offers up details on being banned from Houston radio in 2009 (for supposedly starting a gang-related shooting), and how he reacted in the most gangsta way possible: by starting his own radio show. Ironically, it’s called “Banned Rrom Radio.” Watch the video above to see Trae break it down about being shot in 2012, repping H-town ’til the end, upcoming collaborations with “Diddy… Tip, Jeezy, Krayzie Bone, Lupe Fiasco, Wiz Khalifa, Jadakiss, and even Floyd Mayweather.”

Watch the video above and be sure to download Trae’s new mixtape which just dropped, I Am King.
