YungBambi Cooks One Up For The New KarmaloopTV Style Short

Whether it’s on Tumblr or the streets of NYC, Bambi is everywhere. From modeling for brands like Opening Ceremony and M.O.B, to taking pictures at all the poppin’ parties, she’s slowly built up a deeply loyal following. When looking for a subject for our most recent Karmaloop Style Short, we knew we didn’t want to go the typical route in hiring a model. It was when we came across Bambi’s Vine account that we knew she was the one. Flooded with videos of hilarious selfies, putting mud masks on and bugging her boyfriend, it’s literally one of the cutest things ever.

Our team had been looking for a model for a while who had real “down to earth” look.  “I didn’t want to go to any modeling agency” says @Gitoo (our Guru Stylist), “I wanted to get the beautiful ‘girl next door’ look, walking her dog in sweats and heels, and that was Bambi”. “When it came to the shoot,” he continues, “we literally said ‘let’s spend the day together’ and that’s exactly what we did. We sat in a penthouse and documented her as she took selfies, made runny eggs and jumped all over the bed. All in Karmaloop gear, of course.”

Sometimes, we have the most fun doing shoots with people in places that you wouldn’t expect.
