I love these boots! That being said, there are drawbacks. You can't tighten them without wrapping the extra-long laces around the shaft like the model in the picture, which ripples the leather and probably warps over time. My skinny legs look kind of funny since the boots hit an inch below the fleshy part of my calves. But they're easy to walk in and have good padding, in addition to the awesome design vaguely remniscent of the Chloe Docs from 2008. If you're between sizes or have a wide foot, definitely order up. These are tight in the toebox but not uncomfortably so.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
