The grand prize winner will win a $1,000 gift certificate to Karmaloop, and their design will be turned into a t-shirt, part of the proceeds of which will be donated to help Unicefs clean water effort.

Here's how to win:
Simply create an original graphic t-shirt design and submit it on the submit a design page.

What is the Unicef Tap Project?
Nearly 900 million people worldwide lack access to safe drinking water and almost half of them are children. Every day, 4,100 children die of water-related diseases.  Just $1 raised through the UNICEF Tap Project can provide a child with safe water for 40 days. The UNICEF Tap Project is a powerful national movement based on a simple concept: restaurants ask their patrons to donate $1 or more for the tap water they usually enjoy for free, and all funds raised support UNICEFs efforts to bring clean and accessible water to millions of children around the world. During World Water Week, March 21-27, 2010, the UNICEF Tap Project will raise awareness of the world water crisis and vital funds to help the millions of children it impacts daily. All funds raised support UNICEF's water, sanitation and hygiene programs, and the effort to bring clean and accessible water to millions of children around the world. Haiti was a recipient of 2009 UNICEF Tap Project funds, and has already been designated as a recipient for 2010 campaign funds. UNICEF's emergency response will provide short-term water and sanitation relief, while 2010 UNICEF Tap Project funds will help rebuild Haitis already insufficient water and sanitation infrastructure over the long-run.
