We are back at it again for the first Karmaloop T-shirt Design contest of 2008…this time the plot thickens!

Karmaloop has teamed up with Lupe Fiasco to bring you “THE COOL” TSHIRT DESIGN CONTEST. Inspired by Lupe Fiasco’s current album “The Cool”, you are to submit a design that best conveys what’s “cool” to you.

In addition the winning design will be produced and sold exclusively at Karmaloop.com and all proceeds will be donated to Lupe’s charity of choice, WHY (World Hunger Year) Finding Answers for Hunger and Poverty.

About WHY:
WHY is a leading advocate for innovative, community-based solutions to hunger and poverty. WHY challenges society to confront these problems by advocating models that create self-reliance, economic justice and equal access to nutrition and affordable food.

All contestants must adhere strictly to the submission instructions or their design will be disqualified and removed from the site!

Locate Your T Shirt Design to Upload

Image should be .JPG others will not be accepted

Entries which fail to adhere to the submission instructions will be disqualified.

1. Download the following Template (Photoshop Document)

2. The background color of your T-shirt design must match exactly with the background colors found in our template. In addition to one of the background colors, you may use up to 3 more colors for your design.

3. Design your T in Illustrator, or Photoshop. If you are designing in Photoshop, make sure your design resolution is at least 150 dpi.

4. When you are done with your design, transfer it to our template. Save the template as a low-resolution. jpg (File > Save for Web). Do not re-size the template.

Please make sure to keep a hi-resolution copy of your original design.

If you are using Photoshop, save the PSD with layers. If your design wins, and any one of these steps has not been followed, we may not be able to get your T-Shirts printed.

5. Submit the low-resolution copy of your design, along with answers to the questions and we'll post your work on our site.

6. In the event that your design is chosen as a winner, you will need to sign and return a Release prior to claiming your prize (this Release will be emailed to contest winners).

The winner will be chosen on Monday, March 3, 2008 by our loyal Karmaloop customers through online voting. Make sure you get all your friends to vote for your design.
