Disappointed :(
I have a pair of MTE high tops with the Cush soles so I assumed it would be the same. There is literally no comparison.
These are probably the most uncomfortable Vans I've ever owned. I was beyond shocked. We ended up cutting the arch support out and it helped somewhat but they are awful

Narrow
I have worn several different kinds of vans over the years and have always stuck to the same size with no problems. When I received these in my usual size the toe box felt very strange and narrow so I ordered and size up and the same thing. I am hoping once they are broken in that will change but just a warning that the run narrow even on very skinny feet

Cheaply made
Quality is going downhill on these. The interior, rather than being leather, is canvas. This means it'll tear and rip, retiring your shoes early, and also pull against your heel rather than allowing for smooth gliding between the shoe and your heel. Vans didn't used to be like this, and adding a super thin 1/3cm of foam insole isn't enough to fool me.

I bought these shoes January 7th 2023 and it is now July 26th 2023. I have worn these shoes everyday. I was pretty excited for them cause I haven't had a new pair of shoes in probably 5 years. I got my size and tried them on in the store and they felt great! It wasn't even a month before I noticed that the inside of the shoe near the heel was tearing up. In February I got plantar fasciitis (very painful and couldn't properly walk for over a month) and my doctor told me it was cause of these shoes. I told him I just bought them and didn't want to be wasteful since they were pretty expensive and he told me to try insoles. So I got some Dr. Scholl's inserts around March. The insoles helped but the hole in the back is so uncomfortable now because the plastic of the shoe is exposed that I am constantly getting blisters on my heels and now, wearing these shoes are just painful. The insoles have even started tearing up. The shoes aren't big and they are laced up tight. I can't figure out what is up. Don't spend your hard earned money on these. It's not worth it.

Great Shoes
I bought these shoes for motorcycle riding. They are comfortable, look good, and the grip on the bottom keeps my feet planted at stops. I would highly recommend.

Used to love these but the new version kinda sucks

Terrible quality gone down. QA what happened.
Left side fit. Right side could not fit my foot in it lol. If you know sk8 hi 's. Thought I had fakes on. I'm going to try the reg sk8 hi's. Vans I really hope you did not change. This is scary bad.

I got a pair of these from one of their locations that did not fit as comfortably as the other ones. I got a half-size up from what I normally wear that doesn't fit. And I cannot return them because I already attempted to wear them out of the house.

Very good for riding Electric Unicycle
The soles on my Kinetic D.L.'s are too smooth for aggressive off-roading but these Van's stick to the pedals like glue. The Van's sole pattern of little hexagons catches the pedal spikes for some extreme gripping action that took awhile to master. I wiped out once because I couldn't get my foot off the pedal like usual.
Comfy Cush is nice for standing for hours on a long ride. I normally wear size 10, but Vans are narrow with socks, so i got size 10-1/2 which are too long and still snug in width.
If Vans comes out with Comfy Cush in a 10 wide, I'd give 5 stars.

Best vans shoe I've owned EVER!!!!!
I LOVE these they look amazing feel great and are just amazing shoes. I would recommend a half size up because the comfycush runs a little small but I would reccomend the comfycush because it's only 10 dollars more and makes them so much more comfortable also after a bit of wearing it the comfycush foam conforms around my feet I'll definitely continue buying vans high tops like these.

Comfort Goes A Long Way
I bought the 6.5 in women's size. I was worried about the reviews saying they are tight and small but they fit perfect. I do sometimes wear a 7 in the low profiles but these fit in size like the 7s for the low style. I am glad I went with the 6.5 womens. I use these mostly for working out and lifting because of the flat soles which is ideal for lifting. They give me great stability and traction. Though some would think vans aren't the ideal gym shoe, I would have to disagree. I've been wearing vans for over 20 years and they are still my go to shoe for lifestyle, fitness and comfort, especially someone who has foot pain and heel pain due to foot issues. These help greatly and the comfort sole is a blessing.

First of all they are so much more comfortable then the original ones with no cushion, but they do run at least a size smaller! I listened to the reviews and i am so glad i did! Order a size up for more comfort but besides that they feel amazing!

Wore for a 4 Day Music Festival, So Comfortable!
I haven't owned a pair of Vans in many years as my feet couldn't handle the lack of support any more. When I saw the ComfyCush, thought I would give them a shot. I wore these for 4 days at Punk Rock Bowling in Las Vegas. These shoes are legit for comfort. I was on my feet for 12 hours a day and walking everywhere (up to 20,000 steps/day) and my feet were sore as expected for never getting rest, but my feet did not hurt and no blisters. I would recommend these to anyone who wants the Vans fashion and quality with a whole different level of Comfort to traditional Vans.
The length on them is a little long compared to other shoes I have in the same size, I had a whole thumb from toe end to tip.

THESE ARE GREAT SHOES! I got these, they fit perfectly, the soles are super comfy and great for sports. When they didn't fit me anymore, I got my brother's pair of these, they were a little bit worn out but still super comfy. I really recommend these to skateboarder or any one who want comfy shoes!

Favorite Work Shoe
I wear these at work. Fork Truck Driver for a Boat Manufacturer. Keeps my feet comfortable all day long in bad floor conditions and hard concrete. Durable and take a beating but still look good enough to go out or jump on my skateboard after work.

Cute, but wouldn't buy again
I bought these for work thinking they'd be perfect. They're cute, durable, and sounded really comfortable. I have owned many pairs of Vans, including the regular Sk8-His. I've had slip-ons, UltraRange Rapidwelds, and Old Skools too; all of them have fit perfectly, and they've all been the same size. I thought with these I could get my usual size, but they run at least a size small; the tops of my feet are getting bruised from the tightness, no matter how loosely I do the laces. The unnecessary inner elastic is causing blisters. The added cushion is minimal and not worth the extra money. I'll stick to the non-ComfyCush from now on.

Comfortable, NOT durable (not made for skateboarding)
They light weight, soft sole, and very comfortable. I was very exited to skate in them. However, the material/sole around the nose is not the normal rubber. It is very weak and I can see the fabric below after skating 10-20 times.
For a shoe called SK-8, it's not made for skateboarding. Very bummed.

Vans for Elder Millennials
I love these shoes! The sole is so soft yet also supportive, I have worn them several times and my feet/legs feel fine at the end of the day. The high top portion is also very flexible yet sturdy. I could bend my ankles and move freely but the shape of the shoe wasn't compromised. As an elder millennial who needs some more support in their footwear now, these are the best!

Runs Smaller than Canvas Vans
I ordered these for my husband in the same size all of his canvas vans are and they were too small so we had to send him back. I'm not a big fan of not being able to return and get the correct size. We have to reorder and now we won't have free shipping because the first purchase we each got a pair.

You might want to go up 1/2 a size
I have mixed feelings about these because they're not consistent with normal sk8-hi sizing. I got size 11 and they're kind of tight. You can feel though that material stretches so after a while you can kind of ignore the stiffness. Insole is really comfortable. They're really stylish, but if you were an 11, get an 11.5 or have fun trying to break these in lol

Tighter than regular Vans

The soles are comfortable, inside of the tongue hurts
I've worn vans my whole life, and replace them every 5 years or so. These are super comfortable to walk around in, but the inside of the tongue on the right shoe hurts my foot so bad! I was able to look at it, and it had a really sharp edge, like maybe after the tongue was sewn together, the excess leather wasn't cut off. So I got some scissors and cut off the excess leather and now it's less painful. I'm going to try to sew something into there, or glue some fabric over that spot because it really does hurt. It cuts right into the top of my big toe on my right foot. Like I said, I've been wearing vans my whole life and have never had this issue. I imagine with mass production it's hard to catch little flaws like this. I honestly should have requested a new pair of shoes but it's too late now. Other than that I'm happy with the shoes.

This is the fourth pair of CC I've purchased and two pair including these are so tight they're unwearable, one pair fell apart in a few months and one pair are great. So not very consistent. I'd suggest sizing up and expect them not to last.

A classic to the end
I won't reveal my age but I've definitely been around long enough to be a fan of Vans for years, and as much as shoe fashions have changed over the years, Vans has always kept to their very classic style. I bought these in all black high tops for work where I'm on my feet all day long. These are great; I won't say they have the most cushion of any shoes that I've ever owned but they are great anyway. They're even stylish for when I want to go out after work. I am an 8.5/9 in women's, and bought the 7 1/2 men's for plenty a room. I don't have especially white feet and these are just right.

Comfiest pair of shoes yet
I haven't owned a pair of vans in years and I was told about the comfy cush by a coworker so I had to see what the hype was about. Love the simple design, all black and high top which are my 2 go-tos. I've warn them to work and out walking about balboa and my feet do not hurt. They're incredibly comfortable and light weight, will probably continue wearing vans again from now on.

Very cute, but size up a half size.
For starters, I do really love these shoes. Just a warning. Definitely size up a half size because they are tight. I am a 7.5 women's and had to exchange for the size 8 and they are still very snug. The length is correct, just very narrow shoes.
Overall the shoes are very cute and I have received a lot of compliments on them. They are also versatile style-wise.

Shoe size manufacturing defectE
Have bought several pairs of vans before. This is the first pair that the left foot was not made correctly. Didn't realize the issue until after wearing them for a day. The part across the toe box was made too narrow and causes pain at the joint at base of big toe and the foot. Thought it would loosen but has not of this post. Since these were worn for a week can't return or exchange. I would recommend these shoes but with caution to be sure and check the shoe that it has no issues. If it's a little tight send it back immediately for exchange or refund.

Soles last longer, took awhile to break in
Been skating vans for awhile now. Been having an issue lately with the soles getting holes in them before i even get much of a kickflip mark. However these seem to last longer. Just bought a pair of sk8 hi's and its only been a month and they have a hole in the sole. The last pair of the comfycush I had lasted about 3 months before getting a hole in the bottom. These honestly weren't the most comfy at first but once i broke em in they were fine and lasted longer than my other vans. Over all Vans quality has gone down hill lately...I love skating their shoes because of the board feel but I'm tired of buying a new pair every month...

I wouldn't buy this shoe
I've been wearing Vans shoes for about 8 years and this shoe is about the worst one I've ever tried on, I thought it would be comfortable but it's actually one of the most uncomfortable styles of Vans shoes I've ever tried on, I have fairly wide feet and the tongue of the shoe being attached to the inside if the shoe is one if the dummest things I've ever seen or worn, the "comfort" in this shoe is not starkly different from a regular pair of Vans (which I prefer any day) Also for the price these are definitely not worth it, I'm returning mine and just buying a regular pair of Sk8 Vans, these "comfort shoes" are also terrible for Skateboarding, I don't recommend these ESPECIALLY if you have wide feet.

Dope shoes but....
These crush's are comfy but the fabric is to thin for an everyday shoe. I would make it thicker. The colors are great with a simple or tie dye motif. Vans usually kills it but they should have used a more durable material. I would suggest spraying these or you'll be praying every time you wear them.

Runs small
I love the overall look of the shoe, however they run pretty small. I got a size 8 which is my normal sneaker size in basically any brand, and they are pretty tight on my foot. Also, the tongue doesn't lift up all the way because its attached to the inside of the sneaker so that kind of makes it harder to put on as well. I had to basically unlace the whole show and jam my foot into it, and I don't have wide feet or anything like that either. Overall its a nice looking shoe, but I would recommend going a half size up.

Great shoe. The extra money you spend to upgrade from the basic is well worth it. The stitching that runs inside of the outsole rubs my toe and can be uncomfortable. But that's all Van's. Still a great shoe.

Best walking shoe ever!!!
This is hands down the best pair of shoes I've ever owned! I live in San Francisco and walk everywhere. This pair of shoes lasted me 15 months of everyday use and over 1,900 miles! I've been wearing the standard Sk8-Hi for the last 25 years, the ComfyCush is great if you like to walk a lot. Highly recommended as I just picked up a new pair from the Vans location on Market Street.

Most Comfortable vans i've ever owned
These are just daily shoes. They are super comfortable and you can walk all day in them and your feet don't hurt. I have serval pairs of vans and the Pros had always been my go to. The pros are great for riding my bike and other activities but for just a daily pair of causal comfortable shoes you cant beat these. Also own a pair of comfy cush low tops but the high tops are even more comfortable than those. They do run a half size small, I wear a 10 in regular and pros but wear a 10 1/2 in the comfy cush.

Perfect for long periods on your feet!
I absolutely love these shoes! I am a librarian and am on my feet quite a lot so I wanted something with long wear comfort that was also cute, and these are perfection! I love wearing them for big library, or even just a walk around the neighborhood. The only small downside is how difficult they can be to get on without loosening the laces and such, but overall I love these!

Most comfortable vans ever
i use these for work and am on my feet all day. i am flat footed and these help a lot. super lightweight too!

Definitely get a half size bigger
I absolutely love the shoes. They are very comfortable. I got the all black ones size 8. I would definitely get a half size bigger though. I have to return them.

Great feeling vans
I've been wearing vans all my life,I stopped because old school cushion was not there,now it is here's the best way to explain it go bare feet on concrete then walk on grass that's what's great about these thumbs up

Needs to be comfier
As most of the other reviews state, get a half size bigger. I did this and they fit perfect. I don't find there is much different in comfort between these and the regular version as far a comfort. Would like to see more cushion in these to make them really worth the extra money.

I would definitely buy this product again!
I received the package with the shoes and loved the pair! The shoes look absolutely stunning, they feel comfortable as heck and the delivery was fast! The only problem is that the shoes are a tad bit tight however that could be solved by choosing a wide pair instead of a regular.

Great for literally any situation
I purchased this shoe as a casual work boot. I work in a stockroom and move around a lot. These shoes are flexible and the Ultra cush at least makes these board shoes as comfortable as tennis shoes. If you're looking for something actually cushy, don't buy board shoes. If you like the Board shoe look, but want something with at least minimal support, these are for you. I also wanted a shoe I could use for other activities. Since I use Vans for mountain unicycling, I figured this would be killing two birds with one stone. I have tried them on the trails and they work great for that as well!

However they are the same price.

These shoes are so awesome! Love the all black, they look so sick and even better on! They are super lightweight and comfortable! If you are hesitant to buy just take this as your sign to go ahead and do it!

Nothing but compliments!
I bought these shoes a little bit on a whim, paying the extra few bucks for the comfort. Absolutely worth it. I helped a friend move up two flights of stairs and were good to go! My mother, my girlfriend, my friends, my girlfriends family have all complimented these kicks.

I would not buy this product again
Did not keep shoes had to return. Shoe is to tight. Ordered same size as my other vans and compared them they are smaller. Also I have sent emails on vans website not pertaining to these shoes and do not get a response.

New and improved
These are the second pair of hi top Vans I have owned. The new lite weight, soft cushion inside are a great improvement compared to the classic hi top. Also, added was elastic straps on the tongue are awesome to hold the tongue of the shoe in place.
